The Anchor (Anker Steinbaukasten) stone building sets have inspired generations of adults and young "mini-architects" through their variety and potential for creating beautifully realistic model buildings. They are manufactured from purely natural materials - chalk, quartz sand and linseed oil. Their unique smooth finish and highly accurate manufacture allow the construction of very large buildings without the need for glue. This extension set contains 116 blocks, hand finished, in a beautiful hardwood box including a map for storing the pieces. A design book includes diagrams and instructions for building. This set REQUIRES the starter set #6 and expansion set #6A to build the models.
